Great Time of Year for Riding.

This time of year is about as good as it gets for riding. Cooler crisp air and sunny evenings yet warm enough to still wear summer riding gear. Tonight I took the new bike out for a 2.5 hour ride in the hills north and east of here and ran into Howard heading the other way. We stopped and chatted for awhile about the new bike and training for next year. That reminds me that I'll be needing to formulate a plan soon and what I'll have to do to improve from this year. Stay tuned. :)

i can't get out in the evenings on weekdays to ride; I have to try and squeeze in training in the mornings before work. Of course, now we're getting drenched with rain until sunday morning (in CT).

good time to make off-season plans though--even if it does mean running (ugh).

Anxious to see your new bike. My new bike is only in my dreams. We're getting a new gas-fired boiler. Then a new roof, some new windows, a new garage door . . . lots of stuff queued up ahead of my bike. sigh. It's ok, I'm an old dud anyway.

It's great you are racing Mike. Rain here too. I'm hoping to sneak out for a ride anyway. Rain be damned.
