What Doesn't Kill You Makes You Stronger.

Or something like that. I just got off the trainer tonight and wanted to find something that tries to explain what it's all about. Elizabethan Style Torture, That's what it is.

yeah, why does riding the trainer suck so hard? I don't care for those rear-wheel style trainers. I rode rollers for a while, but you can't do everything on those. So I finally convinced the wife to let me get a spinning bike. And that ain't bad; you can do proper intervals on it:

* without wearing out your tires (like a rear-wheel-style trainner)
* really regulate your heart rate using RPMs or resistance (try increasing resistance on rollers)

Set up a TV and a fan in front, and it's pedal city. But nothing beats a nice summer day outdoors.
